The Harold E. White Legacy Society of Lewis University

The Harold E. White Legacy Society was founded to acknowledge those who have generously made an estate or other type of planned gift commitment to Lewis University and to express our sincere gratitude for their thoughtfulness and support.  Named in honor of the SUN newspaper entrepreneur Harold E. White, who bequeathed more than $8 million to Lewis University in the 1990s, Society membership symbolizes a special commitment to Lewis’ mission. These gifts help to provide a quality Catholic and Lasallian-based education for future generations of Lewis students.

By creating a deferred gift through a will or estate plan, those interested in supporting Lewis can:

Leave a legacy that will impact students for years to come.
Help secure a promising future for the University.
Endow scholarships and programs.
Take pride in supporting cherished values.
Establish financial and tax benefits personally and for loved ones.

Society members are recognized periodically in Lewis University publications and are invited as guests each year to the President’s Circle Dinner.
