Named to commemorate the opening of what was then known as The Allentown Hospital, the 1899 Society continues the more than 100-year tradition of supporting Lehigh Valley Health Network through philanthropy. Like the visionaries who have helped lead and support the hospital throughout its rich history, members of the 1899 Society lead the hospital into the future through estate gifts.
How it Helps
By naming Lehigh Valley Hospital in your will (a bequest), establishing gift annuities or charitable trusts, or making a life insurance gift, you help ensure the highest quality health care for our community. Members of the 1899 Society feel passionate about the work LVHN does to improve the health of our community through education and research as well as hands-on care. They find satisfaction in directing their generosity in a way that will continue working after they're gone.

Members of the 1899 Society have expressed their commitment to Lehigh Valley Health Network through a very special and important form of financial support.
These donors have named LVHN as the ultimate beneficiary of a planned gift. Such gifts might include a bequest and/or charitable income gifts, such as charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder unitrusts, charitable remainder annuity trusts, or gifts of life insurance.
